    cozy setting
    nature trails
    cramped space

Cozy setting deep in the woods. Close access to nature trails and beautiful surroundings.

Finding the place is a chore with no signs on the road, leading to significant driving frustration. The small kitchen quickly fills up when larger groups arrive, creating challenges for morning meal prep. Rooms are cramped, especially with three beds squeezed into a tiny space, and basic supplies like toilet paper were absent when we checked in.

    clean room
    ideal location
    cramped space
    hot water issue
    kitchen crowding

The location was ideal for our journey, nestled in a stunning forest and easily found on maps. The cleanliness of the room and bathrooms was notable, and the beds provided a solid night's sleep. However, with three beds in a small room, it felt cramped, and the hot water ran out during the night. The kitchen was well-equipped, but accommodating larger groups could be a challenge during peak times. The Uonuma-grown rice added to the homey atmosphere during meals.

    small room

great vibe but a bit cramped

The energy in the guesthouse was fantastic, creating a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation. I loved the beautiful mountain view from our window, which made mornings so much brighter. The setting deep in the woods was cozy and offered a true escape from busy life.

However, the room felt a bit cramped with three beds squeezed in.

    spacious dining

It was just an excellent fit for a mini-break over the weekend in Hella with value for money. The spacious dining area was really great for gathering and enjoying meals together. Try to visit during a quieter time to avoid line-ups in the kitchen.

    cozy living room
    well-equipped kitchen
    small room

I had a great time here! The cozy living room was perfect for hanging out, and the well-equipped kitchen made meal prep super easy. Just a heads up, the rooms were a bit small, but the comfort made up for it. I'd totally come back!
